Emergency Stop Management and Monitoring

Managing the Emergency Stops in a fuel system is an important challenge for designers of emergency power systems in buildings. Emergency Stops are located at fuel transfer pumps, fuel filtration operations, storage tank room, and generator rooms. Activation of any emergency stop will provide local safety, but what about the components located remotely. The C8-SR Safety Controller manages all Emergency Stop inputs and disables all fuel system pumps and closes fuel valves, or some subset of the system depending on the facility needs. The C8-SR also provides the critical function of monitoring all emergency stop devices and integrating this information to the fuel system Master Control and BMS System. This prevents inadvertent activation and disabling of the fuel supply. The C8-SR is based on the leading safety relay controllers for industrial and process safety. 12 Inputs from Emergency Stops or Fire Alarm Devices control fuel systems pumps and valves in 1-5 logic zones.
